The project has about 30 permanentstaff members. The implementation staff includes eight area or regional IPM advisors situated in county or regional offices, including an extension IPM coordinator located at the UC Kearney Agricultural Center in Parlier. The project's administrative office and all other staff are located on the Davis campus. The computer group has a manager, two programmers, a computer resource specialist, a writer, and a meteorology assistant. The IPM education and publications group has a director, four writers, an assistant editor, and clerical staff. UC IPM Project Budget, 1995-96 The UC IPM Project is funded primarily from state funds. The figures below describe the anticipated budget for 1995-96, reflecting salary increases over last year's budget and a 0.6 percent cut in state funds. Extramural funds for agencies such as NIOSH, USEPA, and USDA are used for specific projects and are not included in the table.
