New
staff join UC IPM
Tunyalee Martin is the new content development supervisor, managing development of pest management products.
Martin received her bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in entomology from UC Davis where she specialized
in pest management and insect physiology.
Prior to joining the UC IPM Program, she worked as an analyst at UC Office of the President and has writing, research,
and teaching experience working for The Nature Conservancy’s Invasive Species Team, CDFA Biological Control
Program, San Francisco State University, and California State University, Sacramento.
Lori Faherty is the new financial assistant for the UC IPM program. Her main duties include processing payroll,
reviewing ledgers, and equipment inventory management.
She has worked for UC Davis since September 1990. Faherty spent the majority of her employment at the University
working at the Cowell Student Health Center as a medical assistant and an accounts payable assistant. She also held
a position at the Center for Neuroscience as an administrative/accounts payable assistant.
Faherty received her associate's degree at Solano Community College and is currently working toward a bachelor’s
degree in accounting.
