Cover of Demonstration and Research Uses of Pesticides

This 152-page guide, published in August 2003 by UC IPM's Pesticide Safety Education Program, is the program's first fee-based downloadable electronic publication (or e-publication). It is available online in a PDF format from the ANR catalog.

This guide is geared for those who:

  • give demonstrations on pesticides and pesticide application equipment
  • work in pest control research—including education, government, and the private sector
  • are studying for a Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) or a Qualified Applicator License (QAL) exam in the California Department of Pesticide Regulation's Demonstration and Research Pest Control category

Recommended Study Guide

This comprehensive publication is the recommended study guide for preparing for the California Department of Pesticide Regulation's Demonstration and Research Pest Control category.

Pesticide Application Compendium

Demonstration and Research Uses of Pesticides is Volume 6 of the Pesticide Application Compendium. This series was originally written for professionals trying to meet California's tough applicator licensing requirements. It provides very useful information on all types of protective equipment and application procedures, with illustrations.

How to order
