This training manual, revised in 1999 and written in the same easy-to-read style with comic-book illustrations as the 1991 edition, helps agricultural employers and other pesticide users train their employees who mix, load, apply, or otherwise handle pesticides. The manual includes updated information to help employers comply with California and federal pesticide training requirements.

Instructor's Edition
Each instructor's packet includes an 84-page instructor's booklet (in both English and Spanish) with training record forms, supplemental resource information on special hazards and regulatory requirements, and instructions on customizing the training for each work setting. The larger format instructor's edition has extra space for notes, and includes ready-to-use training records and other required forms.

Worker's Edition
The worker's packet is in an easy-to-read comic book style. One edition is in English and Spanish. Another edition is in Punjabi. The packet contains five 44-page pocketbook-size worker's editions.
