How to Manage Pests

Pests in Gardens and Landscapes

Leaf spotting on aucuba

Leaf spot is caused by excess light and high temperatures, and possibly drought stress. Black spots or blotches may form on leaves of aucuba under certain circumstances.

Solutions

Plant in areas with some shade. Plant tall species and darken light-colored surfaces nearby. Provide appropriate cultural care.
