viruses
Four common viruses that distort or discolor
foliage in landscape plants

on leaves of Chinese lantern or Chinese bellflower.
|

Camellia yellow mottle virus causes an irregular yellow
mottling of camellia leaves and a mottled whitish pattern
in the blossoms.
|

Rose mosaic virus infection causes yellow to brownish
lines, bands, rings, vein clearing or yellowing, oak-leaf
patterns, or blotches on leaves, sometimes on only a
portion of the plant.
|

Nandina virus causes a mottled red discoloration of
the new leaves of heavenly bamboo.
