DESCRIPTION:
Nettleleaf goosefoot is among the most common summer annuals. Leaves of
nettleleaf goosefoot, including seed leaves, are fairly thick and usually
shiny green on the upper surface. Young leaves have a moist, dewy coating,
especially on the lower surfaces, and have a strong odor when crushed.
Mature nettleleaf goosefoot plants are up to 3 feet (90 cm) tall, with
branches arising mostly
from the base of the main stem. Most flower clusters are at the tips of
the main stem and branches, but some arise from lower leaf axils also.
