Mowing
- Seashore paspalum is often hard to mow and is slow to recover from
mowing damage (scalping).
- Mow at 0.75 - 1.5 inches.
Fertilizing
- Fertilize using 2 - 3 lbs. nitrogen/1000 sq. ft. per year during the
period of active growth (late March - August).
Planting
- Establish by sod or stolons.
- Establish during the time of most active growth when temperatures
are above 70 F.
- Use 3 - 5 bushels stolons/1000 sq. ft.
Irrigation
- Water infrequently as needed.
